SCART to S-Video/Composite Video — “INPUT/OUTPUT”

This brick of crude plastic can turn your TV into a computer screen. At least that’s what I last used it for. If you look closer, you might recognize it can be used in two ways, but I always forget how to change from INPUT to OUTPUT and vice-versa … any suggestions?

    Dear Shabayek,
please understand that I maintain this blog only for documentation of adapters — I can rarely give any technical advice. The only suggestion I have is checking the settings of your graphics card. Also, check if the Input/Output switch is set correctly.

    Dear Sir,
I’ve used this converter, as you have done, to use my TV as a computer monitor but unfortunately I get a grey output. I’ve a CRT monitor, I’m using Acer laptop with Vista. Please advise me how to obtain color output on my TV screen.

    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards,
